IntenCity: The Building of the Future is here today

IntenCity is Schneider Electric’s flagship building located in Grenoble, France that perfectly illustrates our vision of Buildings of the Future: fully digital, sustainable, and people-centric.

The building uses 37 kWh per m 2 per year, which is 10 times less energy than average European buildings. Equipped with photovoltaic panels, wind turbines, and on-site energy storage, IntenCity is energy autonomous. Through a unique microgrid partnership, this energy is also shared with neighboring buildings and the city of Grenoble.
